Two blown insulators on Marlborough St caused Tuesday's power outage. Technicians got the lights were back on on by 7.20pm.
Nearly a thousand Feilding homes lost power for almost three hours, after two power line insulators blew out in a shower of sparks.
Powerco estimated about 800 properties were affected by the cut, caused by two blown insulators on the power lines running down Marlborough St, at 4.40pm on Tuesday.
The company initially expected power to be restored by 8.40pm. But, a Powerco spokeswoman said workers managed to get everything back up and running by 7.20pm.
